When packing for a trip, whether it’s a quick getaway weekend or an extended vacation, the last thing you want to worry about is, “what shall I wear!”

Take the time before leaving to create your capsule wardrobe, making sure you have multiple outfits that will coordinate in a few ways, including your accessories! Your capsule wardrobe doesn’t need to be boring, mine are usually quite colorful. Be yourself when traveling. For this trip, my palette was shades of pink and orange to coordinate with denim, both white and dark, as well as my favorite travel scarf, also in a gorgeous lipstick pink.

A scarf is a wonderful accessory and accent to anyone’s wardrobe. I will keep mine in my carry on bag, as trains, planes and automobiles can be chilly, as well as restaurants and museums. When I’m sightseeing, I will knot my scarf around my purse, and it looks Trés chic.

For my jewelry, I kept it to these pairs of earrings, turquoise and of course brought some sparkle! Both of these earrings will pull all of these looks together effortlessly, and then I’m on my way!
